FAQ

What is Fastmount and how does it work?

Fastmount is a patented male-female clip system for invisible, removable panel mounting: the female clip is fixed to the structure or batten and the male to the decorative panel. Press the panel into place to lock it; remove it without tools or with the suction/removal tool depending on the range.

Which clip range do I need for my panel?

It depends on weight and available depth: Standard (general use, 5-15 kg/clip), Low Profile (8 mm), Very Low Profile (2.5 mm, up to 25 kg), SLX (adjustable, drywall compatible), StratLock (aluminium rail for large formats), Metal (316 marine stainless) and Textile (fabrics). Ask the assistant with your panel weight, material and substrate.

Are female clips glued or screwed?

Female clips are mechanically fixed (screwed) to the structure, batten or wall; there are no adhesive female clips in the catalogue. Some male clips do accept adhesive or threaded fixing depending on the reference — check each data sheet.

How many clips does a panel need?

Size by panel weight and dimensions, distributing clips around the perimeter and centre using the working load of each reference with a safety margin. The assistant can estimate it if you give panel size and weight.

What is the StratLock range?

StratLock is Fastmount's aluminium rail system for large-format panels: 3 m SL-RLE rails, connectors for wall and ceiling grids, and clips up to 18 kg (SL-M18), with ±4 mm alignment adjustment.
